Another Wednesday, another quiz. And tonight we have special guest hosts! Joey and Ian will be joining us from Uptown Philly (near Motown Philly I think) to host what promises to be the best Uptown Plague Quiz of the month.
I think you'll all do fine, but to help you out Joey has offered this hint:
"George Clooney and Orson Welles were both born on May 6th. Huh. What's the probability of that?"
Figure out what that means, get your friends together on Zoom/GoToMeeting/Hangouts/TikTok/Whatever, and join us tonight at the Uptown Plague Quiz Facebook Page at 8 PM Eastern - maybe a little earlier if you want a good seat.
It's Wednesday! I wasn't completely sure, so I checked a calendar. It is in fact Wednesday.
That means we have a quiz tonight. Once again we'll be broadcasting from the Uptown Plague Quiz Facebook Page. The Evil Mr. Phil and Naomi of the North will start the quiz at 8 PM Eastern (7 PM Central), but tune in a little early to get situated.
And if you want something to think about in the meantime (a hint if you will), imagine if you will a light blue 1976 AMC Pacer with flames painted on the sides if you will.
That was quite a night.
The Sadiest and Mary O'Shag prevailed over tech woes by following the sound advice of Dr. Jordan. The dozens of participants cheered on the resilient quizmasters, but once all was running smoothly, reverted to the usual trash talk and questioning of hostly wisdom about cow stomachs.
Late in the event, Mary O'Shag turned green in the sight of many, but she looked fine to herself. Perhaps an evil leprechaun took over her camera? At any rate, proper appearances were restored, and the evening ended with a rock/paper/scissors common bond.
See you all next week!
Join us for Quiz at 8 PM Eastern tonight! (Because they're in Cali, Facebook thinks it's at 5 when you embed the video... ¯_(ツ)_/¯ )
You can watch the broadcast right here, but if you want to comment and submit your scores head on over to the Uptown Plague Quiz Facebook Page!
Is this where you sign up to devote your life to weasels?
I have a hint for you, courtesy tonight's guest host, Greg.
"The Hopi word for Life out of Balance is as apt today as it was in 1982."
Well I don't know about you, but I've been pretty out of balance lately, so here's to quiz getting me back to normal tonight! See you all on the Facebook Page tonight at 8!
The strange and wonderful (or wonderful and strange) collection of Quiz denizens were seen to gather again. There were video feeds from living rooms, dining rooms, and maybe a bathroom or two, but we aren't sure about that.
Naomi of the North and Mary O'Shag asked some questions. Apparently much was learned about bras. Alcohol seemed to have been consumed.
Pets and children were seen, trash was talked, and apparently side conversations were conducted.
This will all happen again tomorrow, except (probably) for the bra education.
Wear something interesting tomorrow, preferably on your head, where it can be seen without too much trauma.
PS--for those who were especially puzzled, this is a longline bra.
A tarboosh by another name would wear as well.
What would you call a one-inch grub transformed by radiation?
Log onto our Facebook Page tonight at 8 PM to find out!
